Dee Thornton Accepts Endorsement of Collective PAC

Dee Thornton has accepted the endorsement of the Collective Political Action Committee in her run to represent Indiana’s 5th Congressional District. The Collective PAC works to increase the representation of minority groups at each level of government. Thornton is the only federal candidate in Indiana to receive their endorsement.

Thornton commented, “Congress needs to be listening to the people they are elected to serve and I am very honored that this prestigious group has chosen me as a representative that will bring a voice to people that are not often spoken for.”

In order to receive the endorsement, candidates must fill out a survey and go through an interview process. The Collective PAC endorses a select few candidates nationwide at the local, state, and national levels of government. Thornton ran in 2018 for Susan Brooks’ seat in the House of Representatives. With Brooks retiring, Indiana’s District 5 is being watched nationally in 2020.
